Description:
West Houston Oil & Gas Company is looking for an SAP Functional Architect to provide the overall SAP strategy, roadmaps, solution architectures and identify emerging technologies to address business requirements. The Functional Architect will be involved in the entire process, from working with the customer to understand real needs to translating those needs into capabilities verified to meet those business needs. Job Overview: • Define the functional architecture for the SAP PRA module in compliance with company best practices. • Partner with technology teams to influence adoption and enforcement of functional standards serving as the subject matter expert. • Work with business partners and technology teams to define the business functional requirements for PRA. • Work with projects and application support to deliver expertise where required, including trouble-shooting and problem resolution. • Participate in SAP PRA user group and provide Architectural and Technical input to company representatives • Champion the continuous improvement of the PRA solution in the US • Develop functional standards that address the requirements of both business and technology users and ensure the functional architecture can be implemented according to the agreed architectural principles and standards. Required Experience: • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry • Knowledge of SAP PRA module and its application • Management best practice for SAP configuration and deployment • Release Management experience • Proven influencing capabilities, especially decision making • SAP and ERP Integration Application architecture • Knowledge of SAP technical standards and development best practices • Project Management experience • SAP implementation experiences from more than 4 projects with global footprint (Design and Deployment) Education: • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a Science orientated discipline) • SAP Certifications in SAP Financials • Extensive knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and SAP MI components and proven knowledge in more than one SAP module • TOGAF Professional accreditation (or ability to get certified within 6 months of joining)

Salary Range:
110,000.00 to 140,000.00
